About Luma

Luma is a home decor and lighting shop built on a simple idea: the objects you live with every day should be worth looking at. Not louder, not more expensive — just better considered.

What we do

We curate lighting, furniture, textiles, kitchen and dining pieces, bath goods and accessories for people who care how a room feels at seven in the evening as much as at noon. Most of what we stock is lighting, because lighting is the fastest way to change a space and the thing most often left to chance. A single well-chosen pendant does more for a room than a wall of new paint.

How we choose

Every piece has to earn its place on three counts. It has to be well made — materials that age rather than degrade, joins that hold, finishes that don't scuff off in a year. It has to have a point of view, whether that's the shadow pattern a woven bamboo shade throws across a wall or the weight of hand-blown coloured glass. And it has to work in a real home, at real ceiling heights, on real budgets.

We favour natural materials — glass, rattan, bamboo, stone, timber, linen — which means no two pieces are identical. Grain, weave and tone vary. We consider that the point.

How to shop

Where we ship

We ship across Canada, with free standard shipping on orders over $99 CAD and typical delivery in 2-5 business days. Details are on our Delivery & Returns page.

If something isn't right

You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused piece in its original packaging. If something arrives damaged or faulty, we replace or refund it and cover the shipping both ways. The full terms are in our return policy.
